- 21.7 - 26.7. At 4 o´clock am we land in Madras. The taxi
ride to the little coast town Mahablipuram takes use
for about one hour, lickily we sleep during the ride, The first days are for acclimation
and sight - seeing of temples. The journey to Kanchipuram
is amazing you have to go about 40 kilometres to the inner country. We´ve also got enough
time going for a stroll in Mahabalipuram and for relaxing on the beach.
- 27.7 - 31.7. We hire a little bus and a driver and discover
the temple towns of South India. At first we go along the coast of Tamil Nadu to
Pondichery admiring the rice fields and salterns then to
Trichi and Madurei.
- 31.7. - 2.8. In the Mountains we look around the tea plantations, the spice farms and
the game reserve Periyar.
